Paula Randolph
Paula has been writing since she was 12 years old, when her nose wasn't buried in a book. How better to exploit that love of reading and writing than to major in English literature. Since her degree at the University of Utah, she has held a variety of jobs, all requiring skill in the written word, including: television news producer, U.S. Senate candidate press team member, state travel department publicity director, chamber of commerce communication director and credit union marketing manager.
Now free to freelance, Paula has ghost written and edited a fantasy-adventure novel, in addition to writing for Suite101 and other freelance assignments. For Suite101, Paula has focused on health topics she knows well, such as Marfan syndrome and heart conditions, as well as whimsical subjects such as handbags and aprons.
In other creative activities, Paula makes whimsical animal sculptures which she sells along with her sister's handmade pendants and nursing mom necklaces on Etsy: LoveBirdsDesign. She also writes a blog, Are We Amused, in which she comments about politics, celebrities, dogs, other animals and any other amusing activities that arise.
